Medical Benefits
Depending on where you live, AIG offers you a choice of two types
of medical coverage for you and your dependents on a pre-tax basis;
a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or an Exclusive Provider
Organization (EPO). Both plans provide benefits with a very large
network of providers including prescription drugs. The main difference
between the PPO and the EPO is who provides your care and how much
you pay out-of-pocket for that care.
Dental Benefits
You can choose from two dental care coverage options for you and
your dependents which the employee pays for on a pre-tax basis.
Vision Benefits
Vision care services include eye examinations, glasses or contacts,
and Lasik discounts. You can choose from two coverage options for
you and your dependents.
Retirement & Savings
Steps you take today may help you enhance your retirement. AIG offers
three retirement and savings plans to help you prepare for retirement.
Retirement Plan
AIG maintains a pension plan to supplement your Social Security
benefits and personal savings. The company pays the full cost of
this plan.
AIG Incentive Savings Plan 401(k)
You can save 1% to 50% of pay on a pretax basis, invest in a variety
of funds, and enjoy tax-advantaged account growth with this 401(k)
plan. The company match (up to 6% of your contribution) is based
on your years of service as follows:
Less than 5 Years; 33% Match
Five thru 9 Years; 75% Match
Ten + Years; 116.667% Match
The company match is a very powerful savings tool and increases
based on your tenure with the company.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Through convenient payroll deductions, you can buy shares
of AIG common stock at a discount. AIG stock is part of the "Dow 30" on
the New York Stock Exchange. By purchasing and owning AIG stock
through this plan, you can directly benefit from the company's
solid performance
and continued growth. You can begin purchasing AIG stock at a 15%
discount after one year of service.
Time Off
Holidays
We provide 10 paid holidays each year. For 2005, there are six standard
holidays and four Discretionary Days in most AGFS locations.
Vacations
Regular full-time employees earn vacation depending on date of hire.
